1. Booking & Payment

All bookings must be made through our official website or preferred partners.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Prices are in USD and does not include 15% VAT or gratuity.

A 6% card processing fee applies. Cash-back requests incur a 10% fee.

No ATMs or banks on the island – plan accordingly.
2. Cancellations & Transfers

All bookings are non-refundable.
-
One reservation transfer is allowed only with 30 days’ prior notice and may be used once per booking.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
3. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: 12:00 PM To 5 PM| Check-out: 9:00 AM.

Online check-in is mandatory prior to arrival to avoid delays.

Late Check-Out & Payment Policy
Late check-out is available for $50 USD + 15% VAT, subject to availability and prior approval. This option is only valid until 12:00 PM. After 12:00 PM, a full additional night rate will apply, plus tax, with no exceptions. -
All payments are non-refundable. The credit card provided on the authorization form will be used for any applicable charges, including late check-out fees and additional night stays.

Please note that this policy is in place due to our operational structure. We do not operate 24/7 hotel staffing, and our team schedules, as well as island transportation (including panga transfers), run on fixed times. For this reason, check-out times must be strictly respected to ensure smooth transitions for incoming guests and staff operations.
4. Group & Retreat Bookings

Maximum: 11 adults or 4 couples.

Retreat leaders are responsible for marketing and filling their retreats.

Custom retreat packages available.

Non-Refundable Deposit required to reserve the dates.
5. Guest Info

Adults-only; no kids or pets allowed.
-
Bring reusable bottles and eco-friendly toiletries.
-
Electricity is off daily from 6 AM – 1 PM.

Smoking is not allowed in cabañas.
-
No outside food or drinks allowed anywhere on property.
-
Outside guests must register in advance and receive confirmation prior to attending.
6. Arrival & Transport

Dockside meet-and-greet with luggage help included, but guests must inform us of their arrival time. Please tip generously.

Retreat is located atop the hill 10-15 minutes walk from the dock and village on the way to the lighthouse viewpoint, offering breathtaking ocean views and a scenic walk up to your cabaña.

Private excursions can be booked through the retreat for trusted, safe experiences with local captains.
7. Liability

The Lighthouse Retreat is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items; please keep valuables with you.

Participation in activities, spa treatments, and island excursions is at your own risk.
Guest Acknowledgement & Liability Release
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that participation in all on-site or off-site activities—including yoga, spa treatments, and excursions—is voluntary and at your own risk. The Lighthouse Retreat and its owners, staff and affiliates are not liable for injuries, losses, death, or damages during your stay.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, outside visitors are not permitted in cabañas unless confirmed by management. All guests must present valid government-issued ID and a credit card upon arrival. The Lighthouse Retreat reserves the right to refuse entry or ask guests to leave for abusive, disruptive, or damaging behavior.
8. Policy Changes
Policies may change without notice; updates will be posted on our website.
