Meet your teacher Laurie Searle

Laurie Searle, Firefly Yoga & Massage,

Laurie is a writer, stand-up comic and creator of the comic book, Lady Yoga, Superhero. She has traveled the world via her yoga mat cape teaching trainings for yoga, fitness and massage using her great love of anatomy, history and philosophy to make movement and healing accessible to everyone.Laurie is also the founder of FED – Fight Eating Disorders – a 501c3 non-profit bridging the gap of insurance coverage for recovery, offering assistance for those suffering from eating disorders.She is a yoga & massage therapist in Los Angeles and mom to Shorty the chill chihuahua.

HOW TO GET TO LITTLE CORN ISLAND

Getting to Little Corn Island is not easy but that is what makes it so unique. The journey is part of the charm and the adventure that you are seeking during your vacation. 

The quickest way to get to Little Corn island is to catch a short flight from Managua to Big Corn island on La Costeña  https://www.lacostena.com.ni/Once you arrive to Big Corn island airport, you will see our taxi waiting for you to drive you to the wharf to get on an uncovered speed boat "AKA the panga" to Little Corn island (about 25-30 minutes to get across) and we will be waiting for you at the wharf to welcome you to paradise, help you with your bag and walk up to our hotel. 

What to pack?

• Swimming suits, light breathable summer clothings and yoga outfits, rain coat, a long sleeves shirt and breathable pants. 

• Sunglasses, snorkeling glasses, & reef-friendly natural sunblock/ bug repellent.

• Quick dry towel, eco-friendly toiletries, walking shoes, reusable bag, refillable water bottle, small umbrella.

• Book or a journal, a good camera and small power bank.

• An open mind and positive energy.

• Please avoid bringing or leaving plastic debris on the island.

Our paradise island is for the fearless and adventurous travelers given its remote location and long journey to get here. Little Corn Island is the smaller of the two Corn Islands and situated about 70 km (43 mi) east of the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. This tiny Tropical gem is reachable only by boat!

• Enjoy a full refund for cancellations made 60 days or more prior to your arrival, with the deduction of applicable bank & administrative fees of 15%. Please note that reservations canceled within 59 days of arrival are non-refundable no exceptions.

• It's important to note that guests may incur dispute fees if they dispute a confirmed reservation.
